Philip joins Luke, Kieran, and former pro racer Hank in a high-stakes retrieval operation through the N109 Zone. Throughout the mission Philip is intermittently haunted by memories of his deceased twin brother Felix. The equipment is recovered and delivered to Mephisto. Separately, an informant named Anemone warns that Sylus has been struck with an antimatter weapon — confirming EVER is actively escalating attacks against Onychinus leadership.
