## Description

The Master of Fate Myth story, titled 'Snow's Embrace.' The Master of Fate carries out the mandate of heaven — and his mandate is to erase MC from existence, because she is a 'variable' who will inevitably cause disaster regardless of her intentions. He falls in love with her instead and refuses to carry out the erasure. He instructs her to make 100 umbrellas. Once she has made them, he pours his own Evol energy into the umbrellas at the cost of his own existence. He places her into a long sleep, promising that as long as the snow on the umbrella does not melt, she will be safe. He disappears. She wakes holding the snow-umbrella and sets out to find him. The recurring symbolic logic — he gives up something irreplaceable to protect her, the price belongs to him alone — is the same as across every other Zayne arc.
