# Bloomshore Explosion and Josephine's Murder — EVER's Engineered Incident

> EVER engineers an explosion at 502 Sunset Street, Bloomshore District. It kills Josephine (MC's grandmother) and fakes Caleb's death. Isaiah — the defected Backtracker from Xavier's route — is confirmed as the killer. EVER's motive: accessing MC's Aether Core. This is a multi-route event: Caleb's route covers his 'death' and cyborg conversion; Xavier's World Underneath confirms the EVER–Isaiah connection.

## Description

The Bloomshore explosion is a multi-route confirmed event, canonised in both Caleb's v3.0 arc (Homecoming Wings 01-01 explicitly names EVER as the mastermind) and Xavier's World Underneath: Sealed in Dust chapter (which confirms Isaiah killed Josephine). The explosion at 502 Sunset Street is officially classified as an accident with 2 deaths. In truth, EVER engineered it to access MC's Aether Core. Josephine — MC's grandmother, former Gaia Research Center Unicorn team member, and the woman who raised Caleb alongside MC — is killed. Caleb is gravely injured; an unknown party rescues him and converts his right arm into a cybernetic limb, establishing him as the Farspace Fleet Colonel. Isaiah, the defected Backtracker who has been the antagonist in Xavier's background since 2033, is named the killer in both routes. The event connects Xavier's EVER arc directly to Caleb's resurrection arc.
