## Description

In Verona, Rafayel lives under the stage name 'Mo' and performs opera — a skill his Lemurian aunt Talia taught him. A fellow Lemurian survivor named K dies after extensive human experimentation. Rafayel and other surviving Lemurians perform the Seamoon Ceremony for him. A week later, 'Mo' performs in Verona. The wealthy Mr. Fallon — implied to be connected to the harm done to K and the Lemurian community — is in the audience. By the end of the performance Fallon is dead: killed by Rafayel's Lemurian siren song, a power that can end a human life. A private investigator named Louis attempts to piece together what happened and even raises the topic of Lemuria; Rafayel gives him nothing. The incident pushes him to relocate. He moves to Linkon — driven, as revealed in Anecdote 2, by intel from information broker Sutherland that MC is enrolled at the University of Linkon.
