## Description

Prior to the main story, MC awakens her Evol ability and registers as a Hunter with the Hunters Association. Her Evol classification registers as 'Lost' — an anomalous reading that puzzles the Association. The anomaly is later explained by the Protocore fragments lodged in her heart since the 2034 Wanderer attack, which interfere with accurate Evol scanning. She is placed on UNICORNS Alpha Team — the squad that will pair her with Xavier (and through him, every other LI arc). Her grandmother Josephine had already been killed by this point in her timeline. The Skyline anecdote confirms she visited Caleb at his DAA workplace on Skyhaven around the time of her qualification exam. Zayne's 2048 Spacepedia entry confirms he was assigned as her physician approximately six months before the main story opens.
