> A role-reversal beat. Caleb — usually the one doing the protecting and comforting — gets to lean on MC instead.

## Description

Hidden Waves inverts the standard dynamic of his arc: where Caleb is consistently the one providing support, protection, and comfort, this beat gives him permission to receive it. He leans on MC. Given everything that has happened — the explosion, the arm, the isolation of the Colonel role — the role reversal carries significant emotional weight. It is one of the few moments where the cost to him, not just to her, is foregrounded.
