# CN/KR/JP Localisation — Sibling Bond Formally Dissolved After Josephine's Death

> In the Chinese, Korean, and Japanese versions of the game, the script explicitly states that after Josephine's death, Caleb and MC are no longer adopted siblings. The English version omits this text. The brother/love-interest tension in the original draft is partially resolved in CN/KR/JP and remains unresolved in EN.

## Description

A localisation-specific lore note. In the CN, KR, and JP scripts, there is an explicit line stating that after Josephine's death — the event that also triggers the Bloomshore explosion arc — Caleb and MC are no longer formally adopted siblings. The English version of the game does not include this clarification. This produces structurally different readings: in CN/KR/JP, the sibling-versus-love-interest tension is partially resolved by the loss of the legal/familial framework that defined it; in EN, that tension remains unresolved throughout.
